Here’s how to Apply…
It’s easy as 1 – 2 – 3 – 4
There are four steps to the application process.
An invitation to schedule your "Admissions Interview", along with additional information, will be emailed within 2-3 days after receiving your completed application and payment. Applications remain valid for up to 6 months from the application submission date. Tip: In the event you do not receive a response from KCPC in your “In Box”, please check your “Junk Box”.
Thank you in advance for your patience throughout the application process.
1. Online Application Form.
You can complete the Counsellor Aptitude Assessment (CAA) online. Proceed to the online application by clicking here.
Note: Our priority and demand is with applicants enrolling in one of KCPC’s complete Diploma or Certificate programs in applied psychology and counselling. As such, we are currently unable to accommodate applicants who only want individual course(s).
2. Application Fee.
After filling out all areas of the Application Form, don’t forget to include the required $150, non-refundable application fee. Click here to proceed to our fee payment page where you will find payment options.
IMPORTANT reminder…In order to process your application, we require payment of the non-refundable $150 application fee.
3. Admissions Interview
Once your CAA and application fee have been received, an Admissions Interview (either by phone or in- person) will be scheduled for you with the Registrar. The purpose of this meeting is to help you evaluate if the training offered by KCPC is the right fit for you. Based on the outcome of the Admissions Interview, a Letter of Acceptance will be issued to you.
For BC residents … If you intend to apply to StudentAide BC for a student loan, you must first be accepted into KCPC. Once your application has been approved by the College and you’ve received a Letter of Acceptance, you may click here to apply to StudentAid BC on their online application site. Please note: KCPC is listed on the StudentAid BC site under the name: “Kelowna College”
4. Payment schedule and final signatures.
After you submit the CAA; pay the application fee; complete the Admissions interview; complete all paperwork requirements and the Student Enrollment Contract you will receive a Letter of Acceptance. You will then be contacted by the Financial Officer to establish a payment schedule and be all ready to start your program. CONGRATULATIONS!
Enrollment is on a continuous basis, so you can start your first course as soon as the textbooks are issued to you.
