Our commitment to our students extends all the way to prospective employers… KCPC is dedicated to teaching the skills and competence required to work as entry-level counsellors in a variety of mental health settings. If an employer should discover any gaps in the skills or abilities of a newly hired graduate, we’ll address the deficit with free refresher courses in subjects covered by our curriculum.

- Conduct Clinical Assessments & Mental Status Exams.
- Ability to develop and maintain a Therapeutic Alliance.
- Counselling youth, families, and couples.
- Treatment planning & Case management.

- Specialized counselling for issues related to grief; addictions; abuse/domestic violence; depression and anxiety disorders.
